About Khin Wint Wah

Burmese actress Khin Wint Wah is well-known in her home country's film business. She won four awards while representing Myanmar at Miss Supranational 2013 and was awarded Miss Supranational Myanmar 2013. Parents Hla Han and Kyi Kyi Swe welcomed Khin Wint Wah into the world on September 21, 1994 in Yangon, Myanmar. She graduated from Basic Education High School No. 2 Bahan and afterwards spent two years studying botany at Dagon University. She later changed to Yangon University's distance learning program and earned a B.S. in Botany.

Khin Wint Wah entered Miss Supranational 2013, where she placed first, and began her acting career. In 2014, Kyi Phyu Shin's Burmese film Fairly and Me, in which she co-starred with actor Kaung Pyae, served as her debut. Since then, she has starred in over 80 direct-to-video films and over 30 films on the big screen. Bridge of Clouds, starring Nay Toe, Tun Tun, and Nguyen Tran Huyen My, was her most recent feature film. It debuted in Myanmar theatres on July 13, 2018.

In addition to being a well-known actress, Khin Wint Wah has been involved in the Myanmar film industry. From 2014 to 2017, she presided over the Myanmar Film Organization. In 2018, she joined the demonstration against the military takeover and used her Instagram account to raise awareness of the issue.

Being a skilled actress and social activist, Khin Wint Wah is a major player in the Burmese film industry.
