About Kyaw Kyaw Bo
With the Burmese traditional arts ensemble Htawara Hninzi, Kyaw Kyaw Bo is a Myanmar Academy Award–winning actor, singer, traditional dancer, and occasionally comedian. With the movie Clinging with Hate, he took home the Best Supporting Actor prize at the 2018 Myanmar Academy Awards. He is well recognized for his work on the movies. Over 300 films have featured him as an actor over his career.
Kyaw Kyaw Bo is descended from the Thabin family, the majority of them perform and act in traditional anyeint dance. Shwe Mann Tin Maung, a renowned traditional dancer who received the highest accolade, "Alinkar Kyaw Swar," was his grandfather. His father Win Bo was an actor and traditional dancer too. He is the nephew of actors San Win, Win Maung, and Chan Tha as well as seven-time Myanmar Academy Award winner Nyunt Win.
Kyaw Kyaw Bo spent his second year at Yangon University majoring in chemistry. In 2008, he married Zar Zar, with whom he had a daughter. Kyaw Kyaw Bo is an actor who also performs as a singer and a traditional dancer. He performs with the Htawara Hninzi, a traditional Burmese dance group.
In his acting career, Kyaw Kyaw Bo has received numerous honors, including the 2018 Myanmar Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the movie Clinging with Hate. At the 2014 Myanmar Motion Picture Award, the 2019 Myanmar Motion Picture Award, and the 2020 Myanmar Motion Picture Award, he was also nominated for Best Actor. In the Burmese film industry, Kyaw Kyaw Bo is a well-known actor who has appeared in more than 300 movies.
